Kathryn, Reki Master and reflexologist, Bognor Regis, West Sussex

If you’re experiencing any physical or mental health conditions, be sure to always consult your GP or medical professional. Reiki, reflexology and sound healing can all be used as complementary therapies alongside, but not instead of, conventional medical treatment.

Distance Reiki FAQ

What is Distance Reiki Healing?

While it’s wonderful to treat people in person, sometimes that is not possible. When I first heard about Distance Reiki, I was sceptical so much so that for a long time I didn’t even try it. Then I met other Reiki Masters who swore by it. I gave it a try and loved it.

I can’t explain how it works but I believe that we are all connected and it is possible to send healing Reiki energy to one another no matter where we are in the world.

I completely understand, however, that it is a bit of a leap of faith so I am happy to offer an initial appointment, free of charge, to anyone who has never previously experienced Distance Reiki.

How much does a Distance Reiki session cost?

I would like everyone to have the opportunity to receive Reiki. My standard charge for Distance Reiki is £15 but please do get in touch if this is not affordable for you or if you can afford it pay more and would like to contribute to the cost of someone on a tighter budget receiving Reiki.

What happens during Distance Reiki Healing?

Before the first session, we’ll arrange to have a chat first, ideally via Zoom, but it could also be on the phone. This helps me to understand your goals and helps us build a connection with each other.

Just before your appointment time, I’ll text to check you are ready for me to start.

You can then lie down (or sit if you prefer) making sure that you are warm and comfortable. If you wish you can dim the lights and/or wear an eye mask and play relaxing music. I strongly recommend having a glass of water beforehand and having another with you to drink after the session.

I will then send you healing Reiki energy for 30 minutes.

After the session, if you wish, we can have a chat on the phone about the session and share feedback.

The Reiki session lasts about 30 minutes and the total appointment time is 45 minutes.

Does Reiki have any side effects?

Reiki is considered very safe. While the vast majority of people feel deeply relaxed after receiving Reiki, occasionally, someone may feel worse before feeling better as the body is healing. This may include feeling tired, having a headache, or stomachache.

Can anyone receive Reiki?

Yes, Reiki is for everyone. There are no contraindications, that is to say, there are no conditions or illnesses that exclude anyone from receiving Reiki. Anyone under the age of 16 should have their parent or guardian present. If you have any concerns, please call me on 07974 472137.
